World of Tools 2024: Dedicated to efficient manufacturing, digitalization and automation

The Hoffmann Group's "World of Tools 2024" exhibition, which took place from 18 to 20 June 2024 in Germany, focused on efficient production, digitalization and automation of industrial processes. More than 115 exhibitors from renowned global brands gathered in Nürnberg to present their leading products, and innovations in the fields of machining, hand and measuring tools, personal protective equipment, workstations and storage, as well as automation and digitalization. The stands of partners such as Karcher, Gedore, Swiss Tools, Bosch, Schunk, Iscar, Wera, Knipex and many more stood out during the event! The Soltec team had the unique opportunity as the official sales representative of the Hoffmann Group for Bulgaria to visit the "World of Tools" together with a large group of customers to introduce them to the latest trends in industrial equipment.

As part of the world premiere, the Hoffmann Group presented to the general public a new automated system for feeding workpieces to milling machines. In addition, the latest developments in tools and products from the proven GARANT and HOLEX brands were showcased. Great interest was drawn to the Zero Clamp technology booths with their solutions for automated pneumatic workpiece clamping integrable into CNC machines. They received high marks from experts and visitors for their simple design, high flexibility and unlimited range of applications. GARANT ZeroClamp is established as the best way to prepare your production. To illustrate the revolutionary innovation, two machining demonstrations incorporating this technology were prepped.

For some time, there have been increasing indications that many manufacturing companies in the metalworking industry are facing structural challenges. One of the drivers for change is the demographic situation and the associated shortage of skilled personnel. Faced with this challenging environment, more and more companies are being forced to make their production more efficient, switch to digital solutions and automate their sourcing and production processes. For SMEs, there is also an attractive additional type of business: batch production.

In addition to the opportunity for consultation and expert advice at the stands, the World of Tools 2024 also proved to be a hub for information exchange, adding value for visitors with the included seminars and expert presentations. Visitors were able to gain in-depth knowledge on essential industry issues. The main topics of the seminars that attracted the interest of our customers as well as the visitors were "Automating logistics processes", "Increasing productivity in turning with an optimal overall process!", "Reducing costs by 30% through optimized planning processes using the digital twin", "Increasing productivity through automation and digitalization of your production processes" and others.

Hoffmann also provided the unique opportunity for the Soltec team, together with a group of our customers, to take a tour of Europe's most advanced tool logistics center - "LogisticCity"- a highly automated warehouse and logistics hub that, following its latest expansion, can process up to 40,000 packages per day.

The "World of Tools" provided its visitors with an amazing opportunity to experience and find out more about the latest innovations in the world of tools. For some it marked the beginning of automation and digitalization of their business, for others it built on existing knowledge and practice!
